INSPIRATION BEHIND OUR BOTTLE DESIGN
The inspiration for this bottle took root during my Italian adventure, where I fully immersed myself in cooking classes and embarked on the journey of creating my trusty sidekick – Mr. Olio. Envision a scene: lively designs bursting from local market brands, vintage ads and posters adorning city walls, and old magazines blending with a vibrant array of contrasting colours.
The design of Mr. Olio himself was effortless, a character bearing an uncanny resemblance to myself – towering at 6ft 4, with a lanky frame and a perpetual goofy grin, especially in the presence of olives.
Now, introducing my creative partner in crime, an excellent designer and illustrator to say the least, Boe Carr. With his enchanting skills, Mr. Olio and the entire Olio label came to life in the blink of an eye.
Olive Oil have never looked this stylish! Our aim was to break the mold, to be the standout on the shelf, revolutionising the game with a label as lively as the experience of using Olio itself.
