Creamy Aglio e Olio
(One Pan, Zero Stress) by the AMAZING @caillincooks
One of our absolute favourite recipe creators out there, @caillingcooks has whipped up something special. Day 4 of my One-Pan Pasta Series
Creamy. Garlicky. Comforting. Minimal dishes. Big energy. 🧀🌿🧄
This recipe is proof that you don’t need endless ingredients, a culinary degree, or a sink full of pans to make something seriously delicious. Just one pan, good pasta, and a little help from Pasta Pronto (because life’s too short to measure 14 different spices).
This is the kind of pasta you make on a weeknight when you’re hungry now, or on a Sunday when you want something cosy but can’t be bothered trying too hard. Effortlessly sexy food. My favourite kind.
What You’ll Need
250 g pasta (I used egg pasta, but use what you’ve got)
1.5 cups thickened cream
1 cup stock
It’s Olio Pasta Pronto Seasoning (trust me here)
Parmesan cheese, grated (a generous handful, plus extra for serving)
Fresh basil, to serve
Extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling (you know the one)
How to Make It (One Pan Only, Promise)
Add the pasta, cream and stock straight into a large pan. Give it a good stir so everything’s getting cosy.
Bring it to a gentle simmer over medium heat, pop a lid on, and let it cook until the pasta is tender. Stir occasionally so nothing sticks or misbehaves.
Take the lid off, then stir through a handful of parmesan and a good hit of Pasta Pronto until everything melts into a creamy, glossy sauce.
Serve immediately. Finish with fresh basil, extra parmesan, and a generous drizzle of olive oil because… always.
